The LACCDR project brought together numerous institutions and stakeholders to develop the resilience within diverse areas of the County.  Organizers employed a community-engagement model that encouraged co-leadership among institutional contributors, stakeholders, and community members, with a focus on vulnerable populations often under-represented in conventional disaster preparedness efforts.
